SMS Terms of Use

These terms of use apply to the Opt+® SMS - or text messaging - services.

  1. When you opt-in to the service, you will receive a single text message from Opt+ to confirm your enrollment. You will not be enrolled to receive SMS unless you confirm. By consenting, you certify, warrant and represent that the telephone number you provided to Opt+ is your contact number and understand that consent is not a condition to obtain an account.
    • Promotional Marketing Messages: By consenting, you authorize Opt+ to deliver sales and marketing text messages (SMS) at the number you provided at opt-in.
    • Account Alerts: By enrolling in account alerts (i.e. account notifications and daily balance alerts), you consent to receive recurring account text alerts from Opt+ at the number you provided in your account. The number of text message you receive varies.
  2. Opt+ allows you to manage your SMS preferences separately for promotional messages and account alerts. Promotional messages and account alerts will be sent from different numbers. You can opt-out of promotional messaging and account alerts individually by sending STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT to the number you receive the messages from. Once you confirm, you will receive a STOP confirmation reply as a requirement of the mobile Marketing Association. Alternatively, you can manage your alerts by logging into your account or opening the mobile app and selecting Manage Alerts in your account settings.
  3. If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, reply HELP. After you send the SMS message HELP, you will receive a message with instructions on how to use the service as well as how to unsubscribe.
  4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. The number of text messages you receive varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. In compliance with the USA PATRIOT Act* and other laws, anyone who is a US resident over 18 with a valid Social Security number and a verifiable physical US address (no PO boxes or APO addresses) can apply for an Opt+ Card. This information must be provided, along with other information pertinent to receiving approval, when applying for a Opt+ Card. Currently, we do not issue the Opt+ Card to residents of Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, or other US territories.

*Important information for opening a card account: To help the federal government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the USA PATRIOT Act requires all financial institutions and their third parties to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens a card account. What this means for you: When you open a card account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, social security number or country identification number, and other information that will allows us to identify you. We may also request a copy of your driver's license or other documentation bearing your photo as verification of your identity.

Approval usually takes 3 to 5 minutes but can take up to one hour. All checks are subject to approval for funding in Ingo Money’s sole discretion. Fees apply for approved Money in Minutes transactions funded to your card or account. Unapproved checks will not be funded to your card or account. Ingo Money reserves the right to recover losses resulting from illegal or fraudulent use of the Ingo Money Service. Your wireless carrier may charge a fee for data usage.
